1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DoDocs ConVector services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of our services immediately.

2. Description of Service

DoDocs ConVector is an AI-powered document processing platform provided by DoDocs inc. The service includes document upload, AI vectorization, embedding generation, OCR text extraction, vector storage, document search, and AI-powered chat functionality that allows users to query their documents using natural language.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use DoDocs ConVector, you must create an account. Account holders are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and bear full responsibility for all activities that occur under their account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purposes. Prohibited activities include:

  • Uploading or processing illegal, harmful, or infringing content
  • Attempting to breach security measures or access other users' data
  • Reverse engineering our software or AI models
  • Violating intellectual property rights
  • Distributing malware, spam, or harmful code
  • Impersonating others or providing false information
  • Excessive or abusive use that degrades service performance

5. Document Processing and Usage

When you upload documents to DoDocs ConVector, they are processed using AI vectorization, OCR, and embedding generation. Your documents remain your property. We process them solely to provide the service. Usage is subject to fair use policies and may be limited by your subscription plan (page-based billing).

6. Billing and Payment

DoDocs ConVector uses page-based billing. Subscription fees are billed according to your selected plan and usage volume. Payments are processed through Stripe and are generally non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice to subscribers.

7. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property ownership is as follows:

  • Your Documents: You retain all ownership rights to documents you upload
  • Platform: DoDocs inc. owns all rights to the DoDocs ConVector platform, software, AI models, and infrastructure
  • Embeddings: Generated embeddings are derived works used to provide the service

8. Data Privacy and Security

We are committed to protecting your data and processing it securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy. All documents are encrypted at rest and user-isolated. We implement industry-standard security measures including secure storage in PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and MinIO.

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience unexpected downtime. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoDocs inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities. This includes damages arising from document processing errors, AI inaccuracies, or data loss.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to access and use our services will immediately cease. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice. Upon termination, you may export your documents, but embeddings and processed data will be deleted according to our retention policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DoDocs inc. is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to our website. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
